Privacy

What WychBox collects, and what it never does.

Your content stays on your device

Every location, box, and item you add — including names, descriptions, tags, and photos — is stored only in the app's local database on your device. There's no account, no sign-in, and none of that content is ever sent to a server. Sharing and backup features only move data when you explicitly export or send it yourself.

Usage reports

Each time you open or return to WychBox, it may send a small anonymous usage report — the number of locations, boxes, and items you have, your approximate region (from device locale, not precise location), the app version, and a random device identifier not tied to your Apple ID or email. Only usage data is sent — your content always stays on your device. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy → "Share anonymous usage counts."
